The current Food Revolution is creeping into the United States but will America listen is the question. There isn’t a better time to start it other than several years ago and after the initial shock of food FAQ overload it would only be in all of our best interests to listen. Now that the veil is being lifted and Americans truly comprehend what lurks inside their coveted snacks and Monday night dinners, it is only natural to move the microscope over to what are beloved pets are eating as well. The days when natural and organic seekers were only those who go without shoes and participate in peace circles are over. Since the American public is getting on the train of healthy eating so should Fido and Mr. Whiskers and they are reaping the same advantages. No living creature can benefit from added preservatives and Trans fat nor does anyone enjoy the rising cost of health care either. These days going to the vet has become just as painstaking as taking yourself to the doctor. Natural foods and medicine are popping up all over the country for animal care and the results are astounding. It really shouldn’t be though as it is all just simple math. Understanding the pet food industry is the primary outlet for human bi-products is just as jaw dropping as Jamie Oliver uncovering those schools is serving French fries because they count as a full serving of vegetables. Simple math can tell you if your fries are replaced with broccoli and Mr. Whiskers consume more actual chicken; we could probably reduce our medical bills and vet bills since we are eliminating the step of wrong doing in the first place.
